Can I use this data on my website, thesis, or app?
Yes. Source data belongs to the European Commission and is reused under CC BY 4.0 pursuant to Decision 2011/833/EU, so you can copy, transform, and use it commercially provided you cite the source. The minimal attribution is: "Data © European Union, via the Erasmus+ App, CC BY 4.0", and we appreciate —without requiring— a link to go-erasmus.com.
How often is it updated?
The entire catalogue is harvested periodically; the latest harvest was on 19 August 2026. The next-date columns are recalculated daily, as they project day and month onto the current calendar.
How many European universities exist in total, and why do you only publish 1,755?
The Erasmus+ App census lists 6,622 institutions, and only 1,755 (27%) publish any deadline: they are the only ones with verifiable information to publish. The full reasoning is in the methodology (go-erasmus.com/metodologia).
Are the deadlines reliable?
They are exactly what the institution reported to the European Commission, unedited. That makes them verifiable, not infallible: a university may adjust its calendar without updating its entry. That is why each page includes the mobility office email and a link to the original listing.
What is NOT in this dataset?
Neither available exchange places nor bilateral agreements, grade requirements, or grant amounts: those depend on your university and your national agency, not a public census, as explained in the methodology (go-erasmus.com/metodologia#limites). What is an inherent limitation of this dataset: living costs are only available for 242 of the 1,250 cities in the census.
